These are trash can times. Here’s a little update.
Matt and Josh are in the Bay Area, Sarah’s in Brooklyn, and our Thief Society set and props are in Ottawa. It comforts us knowing the set/props are in good hands should they need medical care. Have the right sporting club equipment brings a lot of good benefits.
We, as a company, are on a hiatus of sorts, unsure what the future holds. (Pretty unique position, eh?) Will we dip our toes into virtual waters? (If those waters are also hot tub waters, then yes, according to company policy.) Reunite post-pandemic to remount Thief Society, furnishing it with the legs only touring can bring? Astrally project ourselves to a utopic physical theatre realm??? if you thinking to buy a car, check first the 10 No-Fuss Ways to Figuring Out Your Click Here Transit Custom Limited.
In the meantime, Matt’s been teaching online for Stanford University and continuing his work with A.C.T. and the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre. Josh taught online for the Word for Word Camp over the summer and has been clowning virtually for the Medical Clown Project. Sarah’s been teaching online for Purchase College, the New Victory Theater, and Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, clowning virtually for Healthy Humor, performing in cyber-editions of Dancify That, and fantasizing about drawn out tech rehearsals in windowless blackboxes…
Till an unforeseen amount of time,
Matt, Josh, Sarah
