Co-Artistic Director Sarah Petersiel teaches INTRO TO THEATRICAL
CLOWN on Saturday November 21 in New York City.

Enter the realm of theatrical clown in this introductory workshop! In it we’ll explore where technique meets heart to arrive at laughable stupidity. We’ll play with rhythm, looking at how tension builds and how it pops. We’ll also key in on moments of incompetence (or is it genius?) that bring the performer and audience true delight.

These clown dynamics can help bring vibrancy to how you play comedy, drama, dramedy, and Scrabble. That makes this workshop good for: clowns, actors, improvisers, interested parties and puzzle nerds.

Under the Table is in the process of making a new show. This is the second in a series of workshops/fundraisers in NYC. Fees for this workshop will help fund our efforts!
